The Brantford Amateur Radio Club welcomes new members, both licensed and non licensed. Our objective is to promote an interest in amateur radio communications and experimentation. Additionally we seek to maintain fraternalism and a high standard of conduct.

Renewal membership fees are due on September 1st each year. CLOSING DATE FOR RENEWAL MEMBERSHIPS IS OCTOBER 31. ACCORDING TO A 2010 UPDATE IN THE BARC CLUB CONSTITUTION MEMBERS WHO HAVE NOT RENEWED BY THIS DATE WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO VOTE IN CLUB ELECTIONS OR MEETINGS AND WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO TAKE PART IN ANY CLUB ACTIVITIES DUE TO THEIR NOT BEING COVERED BY CLUB LIABILITY INSURANCE.
New membership fees are prorated to 1/10 the annual membership fee per month remaining in the period from September 1st to June 30th the following calendar year. For example if you join as a new member in January, the cost would be calculated as $2.00 X 6 (Months remaining until June 30th) = $12.00 CAN.

The BARC HF station is currently available on Tuesday evenings during the time that members are in the building. Arrangements with an executive member must be obtained to provide access outside this Tuesday evening time slot.
The BARC bulletin, The Monitor, when available will be emailed to all paid up members as well as uploaded to the BARC Web Site, www.ve3ba.com. Members and/or non-members may read it on or download it from the web site at their convenience. If email is not available for paid up members, a copy will be mailed. Pleas confirm that either your email address or your postal address is available on your Membership Application Form for that reason.
